BUILT TO
COMPETE.

MHHS Robotics fields five competitive VEX V5 teams out of Mountain House, California. Every season runs the full engineering cycle: research and CAD, build and iterate, then program driver control and autonomous routines, with every step documented in our engineering notebooks.

Proving Ground // California Region 2

We compete in California Region 2, a region so competitive it earned the nickname "Mini Worlds". Holding our own here means competing with some of the best VEX teams on the planet in every single event.

Recruitment // How to Join

Three Stages. The Best of the Best.

Membership is earned through a written application, a knowledge test, and an interview, with teacher recommendation letters required (incoming freshmen can use their middle school teachers). Tryouts run twice a year: fall prioritizes incoming freshmen, spring is open to all grades.

Recent Achievement // 2025–26 Season

Two Teams at Worlds. One at States.

In the Push Back season, two MHHS teams qualified for the VEX World Championship and another earned a State Championship while competing in California Region 2, one of the toughest regions in VEX. Addtionally, we sent our first team to worlds just last year.
